The NC Council on the Holocaust prides itself on providing worthwhile educational opportunities for teachers to learn and explore the history of the Holocaust.
For 2018, in addition to its one day teacher workshop programs, the Holocaust Council is offering two unique programs.
I. Holocaust Educators Workshop (HEW), June 17-21, 2018
This summer conference will be held at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, NC. The Holocaust Council will be providing most meals, accommodations for out-of-town participants at NCSU, and a certificate of participation for CEU credits.
See the flier and registration form below.
II. 2nd Summer Bus Trip to Washington, DC and the USHMM, July 11-14, 2018
Last year, the Holocaust Council sponsored its first bus trip for teachers to Washington, DC and the USHMM. The Council is offering its second bus trip for NC Holocaust educators. The NC Holocaust Council and the NC Holocaust Foundation will be covering most of the costs of this trip for 30 classroom teachers.
